20Carats carries on more than a century of jewelry-making heritage from the Tran family, beginning with a jewelry restoration shop in the Mekong Delta in 1925. Across four generations, from traditional restoration to Manhattan, New York, and now back to Saigon, we continue to preserve the essence of fine craftsmanship, working with both natural and lab-grown diamonds to create timeless pieces.

Founder

Mr. Dương Khánh Duy is the fourth generation of a family that has worked in jewelry in Vietnam since 1925. He spent two years of in-depth study and research at GIA, the Gemological Institute of America, earning the Diamond Essentials (2019) and Diamonds & Diamond Grading (2020) certificates, before founding IMR Diamond LLC in Manhattan, New York.

Our journey

1925 - The Tran family opens a jewelry restoration shop in the Mekong Delta.

1989 - The family settles in the United States, and the jewelry trade is put on hold.

2019 - The fourth generation, Mr. Dương Khánh Duy, founds IMR Diamond LLC in Manhattan, New York.

2024 - The brand is renamed 20CARATS and expands into lab-grown diamonds.

2026 - 20Carats opens its showroom at Union Square, Ho Chi Minh City.
